For owners of motor-driven motion simulators we provide simultaneous control software for up to 6 motors. Users of our ultimate full motion hardware, the X6 simulator, can also take advantage of using our newly developed SDK for fine-tuning the software themselves. Three skill-level parameters and simulation control software

An application for the configuration of motion simulator parameters: a password protected program providing configuration settings for 3 levels of difficulty in the telemetry data for 2 to 6 motion controllers, e.g. for the operation of 2-axis motion simulators (extendable to 6-axis simulators) each with 3 levels of parameter data.

Parameter setting and administration

Designed for high-performance motion controllers, an unlimited number of parameter-profiles can be setup and administered using the software, each defining settings for 3 skill levels (levels of difficulty). Access to the data is protected by a password system, to prevent false configuration.

The simulator parameters set out the operation of a 2-axis simulator (1-2 motion controllers and 2 motors). For this purpose the software can define the limiting values and the respective operating scope of the motors. By the setting of upper and lower reference values, the movement behavior of the motors can be calibrated and also restricted to safety margins.

Simulation

The software further provides an integrated configuration simulation module, by which the installed settings for the three skill levels can be directly tested. The communications defaults to motion controllers driven via the standard serial RS232 interface, but can be adjusted for other controller systems at any time.

The simulation can result in three different ways:

Driver

A DLL is provided to drive the motion controller of the simulator from any desired program (e.g. game/simulation/sequence control system) of a third-party supplier. At present a DLL exists that was specially developed for the motor-racing game rFactor©. RFactor©, which delivers the acceleration and angular values of the vehicle for the driving of motion systems. From these values the DLL calculates the resultant controller commands with reference to the installed profile settings and supplies these to the motion controller, which controls the motors of the simulator,



Software Developer Kit

The SDK is specifically designed and developed for the X6 - Simulator. Using the .NET environment,it provides the most popular development environment with all .NET languages. Comfortable exception handling gives you all the control you need to develop professional software. Serial and network connections are included. A well documentated programm with complete source code, provides you with the best Information from start to finish.
